Study shows people are moving to ... Michigan?
Tue Jan 10, 2012
Not totally useful. It reports on one (that's 1) business's contracts spread across all 50 states and all Canadian provinces. There's no way of knowing whether Atlas Van Lines has better name recognition in some states than others, or among people working in some industries than in others.
How confident were you that Barack Obama would win?
Tue Nov 4, 2008
I didn't trust the statistical sampling in the polls. Some of my suspicions were borne out.
Would John McCain have fared better with a different running mate?
Tue Nov 4, 2008
Why not Kay Bailey Hutchinson? Susan Collins? Olympia Snowe? Heather Wilson? Even Connie Rice? So many qualified GOP women. Why Palin?

Tue Nov 4, 2008
Actually, changed my voter reg after Palin was chosen as the VP pick. No longer wanted my name next to "GOP" in the public record.
Underage drinkers scoring free booze off adults
Thu Jun 26, 2008

Thu Jun 26, 2008
This study is a big duh. Of course most of them got it from adults. Only adults can buy alcohol legally. Aside from the probably relatively few cases where a minor was able to steal booze or use a fake ID to get it, there had to have been someone over 21 somewhere in the supply chain.
Rachael Ray ad pulled as pundit sees terror link
Wed May 28, 2008
You've got to be kidding me. Pundits toss this kind of bizarre hysteria around all the time, and if every company reacted this way to every left- or right-wing blog in the net, we'd have a pretty bland looking consumer landscape before long.
